Bacup Zine is created by people from the local community when they take part in the workshops.
People are also free to submit their contribution(s) digitally if they can't make it to a workshop or if they finished their workshop contribution(s) at home.
The plans are for the workshop(s) for the S/S 2026 edition of Bacup Zine to take place around June-July 2026. You are also more than welcome to submit something digitally (via e-mail). Especially written contributions are more suited to digital submission rather than creating it at a workshop, so if you'd like to write something for the zine, do feel free to do this outside of the workshops. Please contact me to discuss your ideas.
The workshop dates for the A/W 25/26 edition were:
You are free to join one or both of the sessions.
Location: The ABD Centre (Bacup).
Time: drop-in between 10-16 h (drop in whenever you like, and for however short/long suits you).
Costs: FREE (includes use of all tools, materials, and refreshments).
Ages: Adults, and children aged 10 years or older (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
